The August cover triggered some comments, but that piece of interactive art changed over time as was the goal of the artist, Joe Scarpa. This months neighborhood story connects us to the Jefferson Park area of Natomas. Karen Wilson interviewed Dr. Ting Lan Sun, who is an education leader in California.

Natomas’ first farmers market took place in the parking lot of Inderkum High and the annual benfit concert in Natomas Oaks Park was a music-filled success. I want to thank all those who helped N magazine get the concert off the ground to benefit the Rose Garden. David Howard’s pictures of the event are on page 20.
